At Luzerne Bank, we believe the safeguarding of your personal information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. We take great care to ensure that the privacy of your information is preserved and continuously monitor our current systems while looking for new ways to improve security.  In order to keep you informed about how we handle your personal information, we have adopted this privacy policy. It explains, in basic terms, where we collect information, to whom and under what circumstances we provide information, and how we safeguard your privacy.

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

·        information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and

·        information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

 

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

Employee access to customer information is only as needed to carry out their job function. All employees are educated as to the importance of keeping customer information confidential and are required to do so by bank policy. In addition, each new employee is required to sign a confidentiality agreement. We also employ physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.
