Richard A. Grafmyre CFP ® is the President and CEO of Jersey Shore State Bank and the bank’s holding company, Penns Woods Bancorp, Inc. Formerly, Mr. Grafmyre was the President and CEO of FNB Bank, NA (an affiliate of Fulton Financial Corporation) in Danville, PA. His responsibilities also incorporated oversight of the Swineford Bank and Fulton State College Division banking operations.
Mr. Grafmyre received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Empire State College and a Masters Degree in Financial Planning and Investments, at the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, with an emphasis in financial planning and is a Certified Financial Planner and holds his Series 7 license. He has taught at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Retail Banking, School of Commercial Banking and the Advanced School of Retail Banking. Mr. Grafmyre has more than 40 years of banking experience.
Active in the local community, Dick is a member of the boards of Geisinger Health System Foundation, Geisinger Health Plan, Geisinger Health System Advisory Council, Penn College Foundation, and the Lycoming County United Way Finance Committee. Mr. Grafmyre has been involved in many community activities, including the Danville United Way, Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce, Danville Business Alliance and Frosty Valley Country Club.

Joseph E. Kluger has been a member of the Luzerne Bank’s Board since 2006. During that time he has served on numerous board committees. Currently, he is the Managing Partner of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn’s Commercial Department, where he has practiced law primarily in the fields of corporate finance and for-profit and not-for-profit corporate and business law for more than 22 years. He has received the highest rating as a banking and creditor’s rights lawyer from Martindale Hubbell for over 10 years, he was named a Super Lawyer for creditor’s rights and banking in 2007, and his banking department at the law firm was recently listed by The Best Lawyers in America as one of the “Best Law Firms in America” for banking and finance law in the “Tier 1” area for Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley.
Mr. Kluger previously served on the regional board of Mellon Bank, and is currently on the Board of Trustees of King’s College where he serves on the Audit Committee and Finance/Property Committee, the Board of Directors of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Development Corporation where he served in the past as Chairman of the Governance Committee, on the Board of Trustees Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School where he serves on the Finance Committee, and serves as the Chairman of the Luzerne County Bar Association’s Bylaws Committee.Attorney Kluger is also the Governance Chair of the Luzerne Foundation, and serves on numerous civic boards of directors including the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts and the Innovation Center @ Wilkes-Barre.
Joseph is a former Assistant District Attorney, a former adjunct professor for the American Institute of Banking, and in addition to his law practice, he currently serves as the CEO of Third Avenue Abstract & Settlement Services, LLC.He has served as the Solicitor of Luzerne County Community College for more than 18 years, and is a frequent presenter at banking and governance related forums.
Robert G. Lawrence, CPA, CFP, CVA is senior partner in the regional accounting and consulting practice of Lawrence, Cable and Company, LLP. He has served on the Luzerne Bank Board since 1998 and is currently Chairman of the Audit/Compliance Committee and a member of the Loan Committee.
Mr. Lawrence is also an active partner in other ventures including commercial real estate rental and development, a fast food franchise, and a newspaper ad production company. Mr. Lawrence received a B.S. Degree in Accounting at King’s College in 1968. Mr. Lawrence is currently Chairman of the Wilkes-Barre Rotary Charities, Inc., Member of the Board of the Riverfront Parks Committee and Member of the Board of Wilkes-Barre Racing and a committee member of various community organizations.
Jill Fortinsky Schwartz has been a Board Member since 2006, is Vice Chair of the Luzerne Bank Board, and serves on the Board’s Loan and Human Resources Committees. Ms. Schwartz is a senior partner of Wyoming Weavers, Swoyersville, PA and Vice President of Fortune Fabrics, Inc. She is also the owner of Gosh Yarn It!, a yarn boutique located in Kingston, PA.
Ms. Schwartz is a co-founder of Circle 200, a forum for senior-level executive women in Northeastern Pennsylvania. In 2007 she was presented the Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious Athena Award for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. Ms. Fortinsky has also served on several community boards including financial and investment committees.
Ms. Schwartz is a graduate of Meyers High School and earned her Master’s degree from Boston University
Patricia Finan Castellano has been a Board Member since 2007 and is a Member and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Board. She is also a member of the Audit/Compliance and Loan Committees. She currently operates a private consulting practice focused on management and strategic development.
A graduate of Misericordia University and the George Washington School of Business and Government, Ms. Castellano has over thirty years of experience in Health Care Management and Administration. Her most recent positions included President/CEO of Wyoming Valley Health Care System and President/CEO of The Children’s Service Center of Wyoming Valley. Prior to those positions she held senior management positions at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington Ohio and The Community Hospital at Glen Cove on Long Island, New York. She is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and the Medical Group Management Association.
Ms. Castellano is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of several organizations. She is currently Chair of The Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre; Vice Chair and Chairperson of the Strategic Planning and Quality committee for Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern PA; Member and Vice Chair of the Development/Marketing committee for Misericordia University in Dallas, PA; and Member of the Board of Directors of The Everhart Museum in Scranton, PA where she serves on the Finance and the Building and Grounds committees. She is also a member of Circle 200, a professional women’s group in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Ms. Castellano has previously served on the Boards of the United Way of Wyoming Valley, The Children’s Home, and the Children’s Service Center of Wyoming Valley.
Angelo C Terrana, Jr. has been on the Board of Luzerne Bank since 2007 and serves on the Board’s Loan and Human Resources Committees. Mr. Terrana is the principal attorney of Terrana Law, P.C. His emphasis is in Real estate Law since 1991, including commercial and residential property settlements, land developments, and zoning matters.He also practices Business and Estate Law.
Mr. Terrana is the title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, Lawyers Land Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company. Mr. Terrana serves as solicitor of Plains Township Planning Commission, Luzerne County Conservation District, Bear Creek Township Zoning Hearing Board and Northeastern Pennsylvania Builders’ Association. He is Chairman of Board of Assessment Appeals of and for Luzerne County as well as Chairman of the Lawyer/Realtor Subcommittee of the Luzerne County Bar Association. In addition to his memberships in the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, Mr. Terrana is a member of the Pennsylvania Land Title association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Mortgage-Bankers Association, Pennsylvania Builders’ Association, and the Greater Pittston and Greater Wilkes-Barre Chambers of Commerce. He is also a board member of the Kirby Center for Performing Arts.
John G. Nackley has served on the Board of Luzerne Bank since 2007 and is a Member of the Board’s Audit/Compliance and Human Resources Committee. Mr. Nackley is President & CEO, InterMetro Industries Corporation, a division of Emerson, since 1996 after serving as Vice President and Executive Vice President. InterMetro and its subsidiary companies are the leading providers of storage, transport and technology based productivity systems for the Healthcare, Foodservice, Commercial and Industrial segments globally. Corporate headquarters are in Pennsylvania and sales offices are located throughout the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America. InterMetro has multiple manufacturing and distribution locations in Pa., Ohio, Tennessee, California, Mexico, China and Europe.
Mr. Nackley has served on the Board of Directors of NAFEM (North American Food Equipment Manufacturers Association) for 15 yrs and is past president of NAFEM 2000-2001 and Chairman 2002-2003. He is a member of the FEDA(Foodservice Equipment Distributors Assoc) Education Foundation Board of Trustees; Chairman of the Board of the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre, PA; Board of Directors of Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Weiler Corporation, Cresco, PA and i2M Inc. in Mountain Top, PA. Mr. Nackley is also on the Board of Directors of Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry and Chamber of Commerce. Past service includes the HFM Advisory Board, United Way of Wyoming Valley Board, Kings College Business Advisory Board and SEFA Supplier Council.
In 2003, he was the recipient of the first FEDA Dealer Based Distribution Award, MAFSI Market Movers Award and the SEFA Executive of the Year. Mr. Nackley was the 2011 recipient of NAFEM’s highest award, the William Carpenter Award, for leadership and service to the global foodservice industry and was also a 2011 recipient of the AJC National Human Relations Award.
Mr. Nackley is a graduate of Kings College with degree in Mathematics.
Gary F. Lamont joined the Luzerne bank Board in 2011 and serves on the Board’s Audit/Compliance, Loan and Human Resources Committees. He is current principal of the Conyngham Pass Company, a management-consulting firm. During his career, he has held governance and senior management positions in banking including a seat on the corporate boards of First Heritage Bank, Hazleton National Bank and First Federal Savings. He has been an advisory board member at First Liberty Bank and Trust and United Penn Bank, and his senior management positions included the President of Hazleton National Bank, Regional President of First Valley Bank and Senior Regional Executive at Summit Bank. Previous banking related professional affiliations include Chairman of the Pennsylvania Bankers Public Affairs Committee, Pennsylvania Bankers Association Group III, Greater Hazleton Clearinghouse, American Bankers Association and Pennsylvania Bankers Association.
Mr. Lamont has also served as Past Chairman for the Alliance to Revitalize Center City Hazleton; Hazleton Community Development Corporation; Hazleton Healthcare Foundation; the Sustainable Energy Fund of Central Eastern Pennsylvania; CAN DO and the Penn State Hazleton Advisory Board. He has held the position of Treasurer for Earth Conservancy, and has also been a member of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board; the planning committee of The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce’s Committee for Economic Growth; F.M. Mr. Lamont is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
James Clemente joined the Board of Luzerne Bank in 2012. He currently serves on the Board’s Audit/Compliance and Loan Committees.
Mr. Clemente is a managing partner, accountant and consultant with Snyder and Clemente. The firm, established in 1958, specializes in professional accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and lower New York State. Mr. Clemente’s twenty five years of expertise focuses on the areas of taxation, income, estate and gift planning, sales acquisition of businesses and IRS representation.
A certified public accountant, Mr. Clemente is also, associated with both the American Institute and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is Chairman of the Board of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation and a member of the President’s Council of College Misericordia in Dallas PA. He has served as past board chairman for Mercy Healthcare Centers in Scranton, PA and MMI Preparatory School in Freeland, PA.
Mr. Clemente attended Villanova University where he earned a Master of Taxation Degree and Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
